Oasis in Time – 2017

An oasis or safe space for contemplation, allows us to momentarily slow down in the hectic pace of the modern world and consider – What does it mean to be human? What is progress in today’s world? What sort of future would we like to create for ourselves ? And what do we really value? These are questions that Shamans and mystics have always asked, whether their origins were from Nordic or Celtic paganism, early Christian Mystics or Native Americans who were faced with dramatic changes to their cultures.

These works are an invitation to reawaken to the magic gift of life in the midst of chaos and change. They are a portal into the timelessness of human consciousness, where we simply bear witness to the shaman, the dryad, sages of the orient and the transformative possibilities within us all.
